sectionals at Vjc today, it was quite tiring because we had to master all those running notes with those painful lips, & i think i sounded really really soft, but no matter how hard i try, im still stuck at that volume. :/
and the bus ride home was REALLY REALLY LONGGG. :(

band camp

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZHUER - the section

louise, phy, yanzhu, simin, jiaying, ulyy, peiting, elaine, evonne, celeste and me went back to st nicks to witness sec ones swearing in, it was quite different because it was no longer the pin badge ceremony but they were given certs instead. :/ then yanzhu wanted sec fours to set up a station for night games and it turned out quite fun, we took photos with all the groups (as shown above). some groups were quite passive, but some groups were super violent! haha. the station turned out fun i guess. :)

after night games, we settled in the mep room to play games. wanted to spend the night in the band room but we couldnt really make space as it was quite messy. haha. yanzhu, simin & evonne turned in first, then we kept playing STRESS, DAIDEE & REVERSI in the third room. think we made quite a bit of noise and disturbed those in the room. OOPS. decided that we shall not sleep at all, so me, jiaying, clarice, charlyne, kialin and two other sec ones stayed awake the whole night! calista slept for less than one minute. :/

sausage bun for breakfast then we left to go home for a short rest before going for Vj concert. waited damn long for a cab outside avenue 2, the 3 of us started spouting nonsense and behaving weirdly until the cab finally came to rescue us! haha. so this is how i spent my last two days in st nicks for year 2007!

didnt exactly get to sleep because i was kept busy with all the housework (grandma's not home yet), so i rushed off for band at Vj shortly after. yanzhu was supposedly the one to wake us up, but she turned out to be the one who slept the longest and we had to ask her dad to wake her up to take bus with jiaying. haha.

i arrived at Vj damn early in the end, and i suffered from a super bad sorethroat. :( survived band prac and i felt extremely painful + drowsy + hungry, cause all we had was that sausage bun during breakfast. then yanzhu left for her class chalet while my mum came to fetch jiaying and me for dinner! reached home and i slept for 15 hours straight to replenish my loss of sleep for the past 3 days. didnt even bother when my grandma returned from china. haha.

today, went "hiking" with my dad at macritchie reservoir and we walked for two hours straight, so my legs are aching quite badly right now. haha.

back to Vj again tmrw.

PROM WAS A BLAST!! <3
started off by meeting tanjia to get her makeup stuff, after which we cabbed down to carlton hotel to yanzhu's room to get our makeup done, then we walked over to raffles convention centre where we had our prom! i had to go round collecting money like a loanshark. :/ then we practised walking and stuff, and there was a break while all the parents came.
OH YES MY DEAR MUMMY WENT! :D

obviously prom was a massive camwhoring session, but the lighting was kind of dark so many people used flash and the flashes almost blinded me. haha i wont be putting the photos up because i look super ugly. :(
and i couldnt find alot of people at the ballroom because i wasnt wearing my contacts nor specs so my vision wasnt exactly that clear, and they all look so different! most of them looked really good la, some of whom looked really kewt in dresses, like pamela & wendy! haha. my attire was kind of like a mismatch because the colour of the dress and the shawl couldnt even match. and the room actually turned out to be quite cold.. :/
and i guess we were too busy looking for other people to take photos and i forgot to take with CC individually! HOW COULD I. :( :(
so coincidentally my camera battery was exhausted at the end of the dinner.

prom dinner ended with family dance and lots of st nicks cheers, it was really heartwarming but at least we managed to hold back all our tears. haha. reached home and 12.22am and i had a tough time trying to remove all my make up. HAHA.

& there's still st nicks band camp afterwards, accompanying simin to watch her squad swear in! and perhaps we will stay in school for one last time.
i guess this is really the last time i will step into st nicks for 2007! :/

okay basically the meetup was lots of fun, but only half the class turned up. :/ everyone was supposed to bring food there, so i helped simin fry the nuggets! haha.

and and and chien's house is really huge la! everyone who comes in would be so shocked, including miss yee. haha. :O
we played games in the movie room, then practised our prom item, now miss yee knows what we're all going to do already, thats such a spoiler. haha. left the place at seven plus, then the few of us went to hub for dinner!

so that kind of sums up the day already. TWO MORE DAYS TO PROM! :/

MY GRANDMA IS IN CHINA NOW! that means i have no homecooked food for the next one week or so. :(

met up with yanzhu & jiaying at novena. omg the nail polish i got from there today really suck. & i just counted, i have a total of 22 nail polish in my collection, out of which i only like 3 at the moment. haha. then they bought donuts from the donut factory while i got mine from munchy. we seriously looked like some donut critics or some sort & in the end we lugged a dozen of donuts and cabbed to Vj for band prac. haha, took lots of spastic photos in the cab as well! :D
from 7, we dropped to 3, so only the 3 of us went for practice today! :/ luckily there's still quite alot of seniors there as well, louise is there too!

half time, turbo speed, 6 flats, 4 sharps, lots of trills and lots of running notes, i found myself getting lost in the scores half, if not most of the time. oh man i will really need to practise alot alot more just to catch up with the band's speed. haha.
after band, mum came to fetch the 3 of us and dropped us at toapayoh while she rushed off for her SWIMMING LESSON. :/ i settled for dinner at some random cafe and then I HAD TO WALK HOME because i left my wallet in my mum's car. wth. my back is almost breaking once again. but painkillers really work wonders, i survived band prac and all without screaming out in pain anymore. haha.

LUNCH "DATE" TMRW. then i need to continue hunting for my heels. :/

& yes, LIM LIYIN! ALL THE BEST FOR TMRW, & SORRY I CANT JOIN YOU THERE. IT WILL BE LOTS OF FUN ALRIGHT? NO WORRIES. <3

oh damnit.
i started making the video at 9.37pm and i just ended it at 3.13am.
thats more than 5 hours spent in front of the computer without any break!
& i got to wake up at 7am so that i can send my grandmother off to CHINA! i might as well stay awake for the next few hours la. :(

oh, tanjia helped me to apply for my pae just now. dont know if im actually making a wise choice, but it seems like i am the only one making that choice. ARGH, hate to think that i might end up in a school without all my friends! or maybe i'll just quit school when that happens?

back to st nicks today! kind of got reminded that we arent supposed to do anything with our hair when we're in our school u, but then, there's like more than a dozen people with coloured hair today. :)
& its supposed to be our very very last day of school, but i guess we still have one more chance to go back on band camp that night? if i can even make it. haha.
so after school, i went to the concourse with simin & tanjia today! we had lots of fun admiring christmas trees? haha. & we finally bought the stuff for our prom item. its not exactly pretty, but we just have to make do with it. haha. so together with the video, i hope our class item would turn out pretty alright?
then we walked all the way from city hall to bugis, in search of this puny little travel agency and we actually found it! aww, simin's flying off in less than 2 months' time. :(

at the salon after highlighting our hair

uhh in a desperate attempt to let our hair look back to normal?

went down to bugis to highlight my hair together with jasape & cherms.
omg i didnt even know which colour i chose, i just anyhow pointed to one and the guy said it suits my hair so i just blindly let him do it. in the end, it turned out like golden brown or something. but ape is like worse, hers is super red at the bottom and it looks like this

ah i kind of miss my previous hair colour already, haha, i hope i dont look too "lotus" though. :/ bet mrs sherwood will have lots of comments on our hair on tuesday. like how she commented on the cartilage piercings that day.

& on a more serious note, i think i kind of sprained my back while trying to move those thick stacks of worksheets out of my room today. it hurts super bad right now, cant even sit straight. AHH WHAT IF I BECOME HALF PARALYSED? okay i am just joking.

damn. my camera is less than a week old and it died on me today! argh, so all the photos i took are gone after i formatted the card. :/

anyway, chia, ulyy, su, peiting, yanzhu, tanjia & i went for Vj tune-in today. i guess the "st nicks gang" was quite huge compared to the rest? haha. not that st nicks band is very boring, but i really think that their band is like zillion times more fun than ours. their conductor alone already makes life much easier compared to that woman. haha. games were more or less interactive too, made quite alot of new friends? hahaha. :)
after the tune in, i took a bus down to parkway parade with chia & yanzhu for lunch. at first we couldnt find any seats at the crowded food court, so we went into this bakery cafe and sat there for like ten minutes before we decided that we didnt want to eat there anymore. bet the waiter there was rolling his eyes at us. haha then we ate at the central and the food there was not bad! haha. too bad photos are gone, their bowls looked really interesting. haha.
after lunch chia left, so yanzhu & i took a bus back to amk. once again, the long bus ride made the both of us so drowsy and bored and painful! haha.

yay yay yay i am finally going to get my hair done tmrw. haha what colour? i havent decided yet. :)

these pictures kind of sums up the whole of today. pae briefing was really brief, and i ended up buying $50 fiesta tickets from sherwood. AHH. then prize presentation was kind of boring, but at least we tried to be a little more enthusiastic yeah, since its our very last activity in the school already. TIME FLIES. :/

& most of the pictures are up, except some which shall not be shown as yet, or else everyone will see jasape's prom dress. i think she's damn amusing, actually mistook a ______ for a _____, we laughed like mad when we were in the fitting room. & i wonder how many people will realise that during prom. hahaha.

anyway, i finally got my prom dress today! i swear i really never meant to get anymore green stuff, at least not for prom, but then i still ended up with a green dress la. HAHA. perhaps its fated or something. & now the more urgent problem is I CANT GET ANY HEELS THANKS TO MY PAIR OF HUMONGOUS FEET. argh, maybe i'll just turn up in slippers? :(

AHH LOTS OF SHOPPING TO BE DONE!

yes, i am back to wearing contacts again! but its like one year ago since i last wore it so i kind of forgot how to put it in today. everyone can see my frigging huge eyes again! haha. then i met up with simin & jiaying at novena first, went to square 2 to buy some nail polish before train-ing down to bugis! then yanzhu joined us and we began our hunt for prom accessories! haha practically combed the whole of bugis junction AND bugis village but we didnt really get anything. :/

after they left i continued shopping with my cousin and i finally got myself some earrings and a black vest! all the things i bought so far are all irrelevant to prom though. haha.

oh and have i mentioned this, i had a huge blister the size of a coin from walking with heels yesterday so it was EXTREMELY PAINFUL and i couldnt try on other heels today. haha.

YAY I FINALLY GOT A NEW CAMERA. :D

settled for a nikon camera in the end, because mommy didnt like the sony one nor the canon one that i wanted to get. but she willingly paid more for this so i have no complaints too! haha.

Os are officially over for everyone today, i guess, cant think of anymore papers that's still on after today. haha so everyone survived it and its time to play play play!!

went shopping for prom dresses with jiaying & enid! :DD

visited so many malls but couldnt find any nice ones, maybe our expectations were too high? haha. finally found some that we like but we still didnt buy it in the end. haha.

i can hardly wait till Os are officially over, though i am already acting like its something of the past. :/

attended my neighbour's church wedding at st francis xavier today. i got to say this because he's considered my closest neighbour and he's really really nice so i feel happy that he got himself a pretty & petite wife. haha. but now that he's moving out, i got one less friendly neighbour around. :O

after that, met yanzhu at j8 to lend her my physics tys, and that stupid girl just threw me to shop alone while she went home to study. tsk tsk. so i went to amk hub to meet my cousin instead and we were there hunting for dresses & cameras. in the end we each spent about twenty bucks buying nail polish and stuff, vain or what. :)

reckoned i got quite sick of the old one, & since im so bored, i changed a new skin. haha. still GREEN, as expected. :D
geog mcq was over today, i kind of screwed the map reading, perhaps cause im becoming a little cross-eyed, i couldnt even find the thing that they want me to find. haha. but who cares, TWO MORE PAPERS! YAYY!
forgot to bring my wallet out, so i had to borrow money from yanzhu & tanjia to take my buses home. haha seems like we're all taking turns to leave our wallets at home. :/

CC sprang a surprise at simin's house yesterday, we wanted to do geog mcq there, but we ended up feasting, watching mtv, & playing cluedo! at least we tried to do A LITTLE BIT OF GEOG, hahaha. it was lots of fun, but we didnt stay too long cause we still had to go home to study!

took a bus back to j8, and cherms, jasape, isa, liyin and i went job hunting all around j8. haha i seriously need to find myself a part time job soon, or i'll be running short of cash for this holidays, i already think i am going to spend a few thousands this month. :O

I WANT THIS!

& so this was the phone i set my eyes on while shopping at J8 with yanzhu yesterday. apparently, both of us thought that this was GREEN, and i said i would definitely get it! until...

i was doing some random search online, & found out that the previous one was SPRING YELLOW, & that this is the real MYSTERIOUS GREEN. :o
now i dont know which one to get!

so physics was screwed, as usual. but i cant believe chewps actually found it easy loh. & my friends from other schools found it FUN. oh wow. there goes my distinction i bet. :/

anyway, went to j8 with yanzhu after physics paper, we ended up having our breakfast at crystal jade like what a splurge. and as if thats not enough, we went on getting desserts from the basement area, in the end i was penniless by the time i walked to the bus interchange. haha.

rargh im losing all my motivation to study, even though the Ordinary Levels are not yet over. social studies on monday, but i have yet to start on any on the chapters. instead, i was on facebook with my cousin. haha she drives me nuts, we were playing the iLike challenge so i let her play for a while while i went to bath, and the percentage dropped from 50+ to like 30+. no wonder, she never even listens to the song, she just anyhow click cause she doesnt know the correct answer. haha. :)

i think i am the only one, in the midst of important examinations, who still updates so frequently. oh wells. :/
cant wait to dump all my books into the recycling bin!
